The border_less Artbook Days is an event that aims to showcase artists, galleries, initiatives, and institutions that work with publications and texts. It serves as a platform for introductions and interactions between artists, art professionals, print houses, and the public. The event will take place on May 3-5th, 2024, hosted by Yapı Kredi Culture Arts and Publishing (YKKSY) in Istanbul, Turkey.
The main topic of the open call is to generate an alternative platform for artists and writers and to build support for new content and publishing. The goal is to foster the fields of art publishing and art-book making. The event focuses on visual arts and the published texts are primarily bilingual, in Turkish and English. However, texts related to artworks, exhibitions, or artists from other languages are published in their respective languages.
The eligibility criteria include artists, galleries, initiatives, and institutions that have publications and work with texts. The application deadline is January 19th, 2024, and the announcement of the participant list will be made on February 15th, 2024.
Selected participants will have the opportunity to showcase their work and engage with other art professionals and the public. It is an excellent opportunity for networking and exposure in the art publishing industry.
